Hello

The image depicts a tooth with a layer of dental calculus around the crown. A magnifying glass is placed over some of the dental calculus and gives us a look at some cartoonish-looking bacteria eating starch granules.

This is a PhD dissertation written in Quarto. If you are reading this, you are likely looking at the HTML version. A PDF version of the dissertation, which includes a variety of trivial formalities, is available here. This version is much more interesting, though, since you can do a lot more in HTML than in PDF. More importantly, the published PDF version will likely be outdated as soon as it hits the printer.

Note: My dissertation has been reviewed and approved by a committee!
